Nonionic surfactants produced through ethoxylation of Sorbitan Esters.

Polysorbates are produced through the ethoxylation of sorbitan esters, which are delivered through sorbitol's reaction with various fatty acids. These surfactants have applications in Home Care and I&I, Personal Care, Oil & Gas, Crop Solutions, Nutrition & Health, and several other markets. Polysorbates act as humectants, solubilizers, and emulsifiers. Oxiteno has a broad portfolio of Polysorbates with a low dioxane content*.
