Solvent ULTRASOLVE® M 2200

Traditional solvent recommended for flexographic paints and high-performance wood coatings

Comprised by products with different chemical functions, ethers and esters, and variable evaporation rates, from slow to fast, the ULTRASOLVE® solvent line can serve different segments such as automotive, industrial paints, wood paints, and printing (rotogravure and flexography).

ULTRASOLVE® M 2200 is a solvent for printing and industrial paints that provides high performance. It is an efficient active solvent with excellent solubility and stability for different polymeric paint systems, such as polyurethanes, nitrocellulose, and polyamide. It is a traditional solvent and highly recommended for flexographic paints and high performance wood coatings.

The solution reduces the system’s evaporation rate, enabling a proper balance for the formulations and featuring as an active solvent throughout the drying process.

The product has excellent compatibility with polymers used in printing paints. Formulations with the ULTRASOLVE® M 2200 solvent help reduce the system’s evaporation rate by up to 10%, enabling a proper balance for the formulation and featuring as an active solvent throughout the drying process.

Why the ULTRASOLVE ® M  2200 solvent?

  • High solvency power;
  • Higher print yield;
  • Low risk in the GHS classification;
  • Low odor;
  • Low solvent retention;
  • High stability in the final paint;
  • High brightness;
  • Better printability.
