Oxiteno has a building block line with products used as monomers in the synthesis of various performance resins and as reactive diluents, delivering excellent finishing features, such as flexibility and substrate adherence to industrial coatings.
The ULTRATINT ® includes alkoxylated polyols that are used to improve the performance of automotive and industrial paints. The line helps to fine-tune properties such as hardness, resistance, and flexibility for a high-performance coating.
These products can be used in the manufacture of alkyd resins, polyester, and epoxy, or even in the final formulation of paints or varnishes, either in polyurethane and melamine systems, both in water-based and solvent-based technologies.
Alkoxylated polyols: What are they?
Alkoxylated polyols result from the reaction of ethoxylation or propoxylation of a particular chemical species, leading to oligomeric branches with functional hydroxyl termination.
The ULTRATINT® BP 60 building block is a polyol used as a reactive diluent. It is an Ethoxylated Bisphenol, suitable for use in automotive finishing and industrial paints.
The product is used in the synthesis of various resins and it enables the adherence to the substrate, increases flexibility and solids content, improves chemical resistance and, as a reactive diluent, improves the flexibility of acrylic resin after curing, increases film leveling, and provides excellent finishing features to the final coating.
Why choose the ULTRATINT® BP 60 building block?
